What is this, what have I stumbled upon?

Hello! My name is Torrey, and this is my blog. It's called Sense Memory.

I made this for a number of different reasons. Primarily, I wanted to have a place online to post and get better at a longer form of writing than social media allows for. I also wanted somewhere to share writing and ideas that are outside of my usual social media niche (and outside of the social media ecosystem generally). If you've encountered Interesting MTG Art on Facebook or Twitter (RIP) in the past, or Bluesky in the present, that's me! I really enjoy Magic: The Gathering, and plan to write about it occasionally here, but I also wanted a space where I could explore my other interests, and that's this!

So, welcome to Sense Memory! It's still very early days for this blog, and it'll probably take some time for me to find my footing and my voice here. But it's my hope that you might stick around for a bit since you've found your way here. Please consider subscribing for updates, too!
